Ballyvally
Buttercup Shoot
Saturday 7 March and Sunday 8 March saw an amazing 70 archers from all over
Ireland, North and South, come out in cold and windy weather to compete in
Ballyvally’s Buttercup Shoot at Castlewellan Forest Park. This was a
FITA arrowhead and Classification shoot and also a qualifying shoot for British
Team places for the 2009 European Championships.
Congratulations to 2 Ballyvally
members; Amy Lavery who is shooting on the Bath University Team in the UK
Universities Championships and Mark Nesbitt shooting for Team GB in Poland
in the World Indoor Championships.
